- After toiling through two degree programs and teaching college students the art of communication, I decided I would publish my musings about higher education for the world to read. The sad truth is we are losing our freshmen at alarming rates. I include advice for parents of future freshmen, freshmen of all nationalities and educational backgrounds, non-traditional freshmen, and anyone else interested in college life.
